The brute force of today’s economics has done its best to squash a dream and did so with a vengeance. While I have always loved camping the older I get the more I enjoy certain comforts so the dream of a motor home has been swirling around between these ears BUT not any longer. Guess the tent will do me well as it has in the past. OH WELL!
Its crunch time at the Ville and all those hard working students are in my prayers while they get all the papers in, finals taken, and travel back home or to summer jobs. Have a GRAND SUMMER! I said that.

Yeah, that is my idea of camping! I would love to (at some point in life) have a rv and travel up the east coast visiting places with lighthouses. How cool would that be? Don't give up on your dream--just know it's on a back burner for now.
Yeah, those students are really working hard aren't they? We've got a few graduating...and man are they sprinting now.
I hope you aren't going to wait until after the summer to post again. I love hearing from you. Hugs and prayers.
^^I agree. don't give up on the dream. Just keep it on the back burner for the time being.
I bought gas for $3.41.9 tonight and was thrilled...something is very wrong with that!
Yup, I bet the gas for one of those things is MURDER. Now you know you'd rather rough it in a tent dude!
The tent is fine with me...BUT I have to have some cushion under the sleeping bag, the ole back can't handle the hard ground. I've never understood that how they saw a hard surface is better to sleep on with a bad back. Thats Bull****
The softer the better for me. If I had a select comfort bed, my sleep number would prolly be 0 to 10. Just let me sink right in
Feeling lots better these days, now if I can get this work caught up, I'll be headin to dad's to go after those big ole bass...maybe even a cat, and some of those big Shellcrackers he says he catches that I've never been able to snag. Sorry I haven't been around, I'm just now feeling more myself and I have so much work to get done, just too tired at night to mess with my laptop at home. Been gettin in bed by 10:30 lots a nights. Don't get to really go to sleep since everyone else stays up til like 1:00 and 2:00. But lately laying in the bed has felt great to my back, I hate it when my back hurts worst when I lay down. Just took my last antibiotic last night and the cough Med I was taking with the Narcotic in it is all gone
So we'll see how the sleeping and back does in the next few days. I'll be trying to set up an appt with a pulmonary specialist when I get work caught up and see where I need to go next with the lung disease I have.Man, I've never smoked in my life and don't now, if I had smoked I wouldn't be alive today. Hope you've been doing great, sorry I haven't responded on the emails you send, I just don't use that email unless I get online with MSN...which isn't very often. Cya buddy!
Gas prices got you down, huh??? We are paying around $3.59 right now. I don't know when it's going to end. My kids live about 3 hours away and I sure hope it doesn't stop us from seeing them. I think I might have to get a horse and see if I could ride him that far
hey! Thanks for all the encouraging comments....sorry I haven't been on here in ages. Student teaching makes every week like the weekend before finals! hopefully, though, by next week, everything will be a little calmer and I can catch up here :) can't wait to get back home to Florida :)
going campin anytime soon?
Too bad about the RV - my grandparents had one too, but gas was just too high for them too. Now, they stay in condos, which are less portable, but just about as comfy. Heehee.
Cheers~
Well, it would depend on what type of books you are interested in. I just finished an interesting one called Wisdom Hunter by Randall Authur.
Wow!!! it's been a while since I have had a decent amount of time to get on the computer!!!
Have you read The Great Divorce?

Well, I wouldn't say I like the papers and the exams of school, but I like the rest of it! :) Baby Ian is doing well and SO cute!! They are actually in the process of looking for a job and we're praying they'll head a little east to be closer to all of us!!!
