I Wish We All Could Win
By The Afters

- Beautiful Love

to those who didn't know what my songs were called (usually i have one song per entry) so going backwards:

Mariah Carey & Westlife - Against All Odds
Aaliyah - I Miss You
Pink - Feel Good Time
Linkin Park - Papercut...........etc.....etc...

and the song on this entry is called "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada. I LOVE THIS ONE.

ok anywayssss i love this poem... it's called "half-past two" by U.A. Fanthorpe
---------------------------------------------------------
Once upon a schooltime
He did Something Very Wrong
(I forget what it was).

And She said he'd done
Something Very Wrong, and must
Stay in the school-room till half-past two.

(Being cross, she'd forgotten
She hadn't taught him Time.
He was too scared of being wicked to remind her.)

He knew a lot of time: he knew
Gettinguptime, timeyouwereofftime,
Timetogohomenowtime, TVtime,

Timeformykisstime (that was Grantime).
All the important times he knew,
But not half-past two.

He knew the clockface, the little eyes
And the two long legs for walking,
But he couldn't click its language,

So he waited, beyond onceupona,
Out of reach of all the timefors,
And knew he'd escaped for ever

Into the smell of old chrysanthemums on Her desk,
Into the silent noise his hangnail made,
Into the air outside the window, into ever.

And then, My goodness, she said,
Scuttling in, I forgot all about you.
Run along or you'll be late.

So she slotted him back into schooltime,
And he got home in time for teatime,
Nexttime, notimeforthatnowtime,

But he never forgot how once by not knowing time,
He escaped into the clockless land of ever,
Where time hides tick-less waiting to be born.
-----------------------------------------------------
if you don't get it... it's about this boy who is like 5 yrs old and is getting detention... but he doesn't know how to read a clock... so he stays in detention forever... and he escapes time...and he goes to a time where time doesn't exist... or at least clocks don't control time in that tick-less place... which is SO freaking cool because OUR FREAKING LIVES ARE CONTROLLED BY THESE FREAKING TICK-TOCK CLOCKS UNTIL WE DIE but not in this little boy's world. hehe. i love how his brain works.

ok anyways, today i went to the general dentist. i'm scared of dentists.

anyways next week is finals and i hate that because i have chem and math first.

TODAY WAS THE CARWASH!! WOOOOOT! we made like a lot of money......considering the fact that 1) lowell's parking lot sucks 1000X compared to presidio's SO FREAKING AWESOME HUGE YARD and a.p. giannini's EXTREMELY LONG PARKING LOT WITH BOTH AN ENTRANCE AND AN EXIT.... 2) the street with the entrance to the parking lot is filled with cars driving EXTREMELEY fast.... not slowly and patiently like at presidio. 3) we had very little volunteers because people don't like to help us anyway... 4) less volunteers equals less things to work with......5) we only get one hose because there is only one crappy water-hole at lowell which is at the T's.......... but WHO CARES IT WAS A SUNNY DAY AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS! YIPPEE!!

thanks to those ppl who went to chevy's night.. =D those who don't come to anything and expect money to pop outta nowhere into our banks.. better come next time or else they will graduate in the cafeteria. haha? no, really. i'm serious.

RANDOM QUESTION: what restaurant (that is close to lowell) do you want to eat in when we have a food night?

That's a good poem. And it's very true, I wish our lives weren't controlled by time. Aiya.

Good thing it was extremely sunny and hot today =D Good day for washing cars. Me? I had to pull weeds and sweep floors today in the broiling hot sun near Japantown -___-;

Homie J so cool =D

.....I, uh, sorta forgot about the car wash? Sorry. =]

Right now, I wish time could stop so I don't have to take finals and all that other junk. Actually, it should speed up so summer can get here early. hehe
