Are You My Mother?
By P.D. Eastman
see relatedATTACK OF THE GIANT HEADED BABY!
At this angle, I feel he more represents the Woody side of the family. But only at that angle. Most other angles look like Ken Morton.
With all the action at my parents house, I feel it appropriate to show you Moses' action, however, he is not yet of age to be thrown around. (I'm anxiously awaiting that stage.)
"I will chew through leather to get to you, Mommy!"
Crouching Moses, Hidden Mouth.
Here are highlights from a typical day with Moses.
He sleeps, generally in this same position every night.
He lounges. Taking in the mid-morning light in the guest quarters, Moses ponders which medical text he would like to read for the day.
And at the end of the day, he likes to remind himself what all he learned that day. What better study partner than yourself, right?
And for all those sticklers for tradition, here's one we're trying to stick with.
May I again submit to you,"Moses at One Month."
And now, for the "Moses at Two Months." (We kinda took it two days late...whoops.)
A little taller and a little less blobbier. Yes, 'blobbier' is a word (in the Mommy dictionary, of course.)
Happy Madness to those who are following!
Love,
Mo'sMomma

Great pictures. Moses is growing so fast. Up, not out, too. Fantabulous.
Say, who made the bed in the guest room so nice and neat?
I did, Sam.....(ha) But it was that way the last two times I have stayed there.
Wow....I just leave the house for a couple of hours, and you put up a post!!!!! Moses is slimming up and stretching out-he is just a new baby all the time! He looks like he is getting his coordination going.
The "crouching Moses" picture- his eyes look even blue-er than before- what a cute kiddy!!
And you are right.........we can probably claim the square forehead, but the rest of him looks like pretty "Morton-ized", which is a good thing, they are a handsome people.
funny captions...HA!
candace.
great pics. little mo is so going to be a HOTT and FABULOUS model one day.
I look forward to seeing the Kansas crew at the end of March. It's going to be a Craaaaazy weekend! (crazy awesome!)
I come here and gaze at Moses at LEAST once a day--
"Are You My Mother?" YES I AM!!! You know that makes me think of our little Gracie--the first book you were able to read all by yourself.
We survived the storm the other night-supposedly we could have gotten as much as 8 inches, but it was blowing really hard, so it drifted.
Oh, you are very right. belly sliding, mud..... MMMmmHhmm.... still have that picture; on my wall.... we'll have to do that again... not today though---it's like 30 degrees outside...
