Hei! I am now staying with a new host family, the Malmedals from Malmefjorden! They have been wonderful so far! The family is Sjur (father, farmer, 4-H leader), Grete (mother, housewife, 4-H leader), Sveinung, (19, son, studying to be a mechanic), Hans Even (17, son, studying to be a mechanic), Jorgen (13, son, student), and Lina (8, daughter, student). They live on a sheep farm with about 225 animals. They take their sheep up in the mountains during the summer. In the autumn, (about this time of year), they bring the animals back down and sell some of them for meat. The remaining animals (about 80) they keep and feed through the winter so they can reproduce in the spring. I am enjoying my experiences and learning lots of new things!
