The activities by Campus Crusade For Christ talked about sexuality yesterday night.
There are three meanings in Hebrew for love. These three are Friendships, Commitment and sexuality. Those are all given by God. Although people tend to view sexuality as bad but it's given by God. Sexuality is gifted by God so is extremely spiritual. God wants us to get the most from it. In order to do so, we should have the three flames I menioned before. Friendship, we should know each other very well; Commitment, we should be married and Sexuality, well, we should enjoy. If we all have these all there elements, sexuality brings more benefits than harm, or it will go the other way.
I read the Bible today. It is so cool.
In 1 Corinthians 10:13 says that No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
In verse 23 it says that "Everything is permissible"---but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"---but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.
Today is Valantine's Day,
I will present you "the most excellent way" in the Bible (1 Corinthians 13)
It's Love
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, itt is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseverse.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, there will cease; where there are tongues, there will be stilled; where there are knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, bu where perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these are three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
Have a Happy Valantine's Day and I hope your Valantine's Days have a good ending. |
