Tranquility
I was finding a receipt in my wallet and suddenly saw a note.
It was a note that has long lost.
It’s a note written Megan, who recommended me to join Campus Crusade for Christ. She was also the orientation leader of international student. She graduated last year. We prayed before the semester end, and she wrote me this when I was lowering my head and praying to God.
I miss her. She is always so kind, encouraging and lovely. I am thrilled to find something who I thought I would never find again.
Her note is a great encouragement to me.
I know what my goal of this coming year is: To be obedient to God.
Although it seems that I found most of my solutions from my religion, I don't think I am being biased. It's real to me after a long search and distrust and it's my way.
"For this is what the high and lofty One says--he who lives forever, whose name is holy: "I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to receive the spirit of the lowly and to receive the heart of the contrite." (Isaiah 57: 15)
