Life & Family Update
I have been getting asked a lot of questions about my life and family lately, so I decided it was time to write a post to get you all up to date.
My family and I have been having a hard time financially. It's been a very depressing, stressful month, and I don't know how much longer it's going to last, but it seems things just get worse every week.
Yes, I thank the Lord that our only major problem is money (or the lack of it), but I still find it hard to stay happy.
My mom is still our of work. She has a chest muscle strain, and she did it lifting filters at work, and BK is trying their best to not have to pay worker's compensation, but my mom has a lawyer, so hopefully he can get it out of them if my mom can't.
My Grandma ended up having to get a loan from the bank after getting scammed (I wrote about that in a previous post) just to pay what she owes them from cashing the fraudulent check the scam artists sent her. Nice, eh? The bank realized that the fraudulent check didn't even have a real routing number, and I think they should've checked that before they allowed her to cash it!
We haven't been able to pay our car insurance, so we asked the Department of Human Services for help, and they still haven't paid it. We asked the insurance company to extend our coverage until DHS could get it paid, but they wouldn't, so now we have no insurance, and my Mom has to go to the doctor tomorrow to get a doctor's note for BK, so she can get her worker's comp. If she doesn't get the note to BK, they said they would fire her. Nice, eh?
We don't even have enough money to buy cat food. Our car payment is 3 months behind, and if my Mom doesn't get the worker's comp, we'll lose our car for sure.
I've been watching Olivia about 14 hours a day, but I don't get paid, because DHS doesn't pay me for child care if my mom isn't working, so I'm not getting paid either.
I'm just sitting here every day hoping to get a cleaning job or a photo shoot, or someone will like my art photography enough to put it on their wall. It's so hard to sell anything with this economy though. I know a lot of you probably can't afford a piece of art for your wall. I've been trying to get published in magazines, but it's not too easy. I have a few magazines in mind that I'm going to look into pretty quick. JPG magazine pays $100 per photo, but it's mostly based on votes, and favorites, so, if that's the only way you can help me, go vote for my photos on the JPGMAG website.
So, that's my life. Bet you're glad it isn't yours.

What do you do to entertain yourself on long road trips?
In my opinion, long road trips are entertainment. Road trips are actually one of my favorite things in the world. I don't really enjoy driving too much, but I like being the co-pilot/navigator.
On road trips, I usually look around for things to photograph, and I yell at the driver to stop when I see photo-ops. lol
Another great thing to do on road trips is listen to loud music and sing along to your favorite songs.
I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!
