| oh myI think that it sucks losing touch with people.
I also think it sucks that most people i love dearly arent in with the
"same crowd" that others are, and I'm therefore limited socially.
Berkeley is great. San Diego will be nice. Burbank will be interesting.
(im moving, by the way)
does anyone visit this site anymore? poor xanga- lost and forgotten since myspace and facebook.
I remember when i considered my xanga to be the ultimate "me
profile"... but now that i think about it, can you ever really get to
know someone by their webpage? ha. right.
"I like blue and cheescake."
"They must be fated to be my soul mate!"
lol
how weird i've been in my life. my appologies to those who put up with
it. You wont, however, hear an apology for the me now. While i am not
perfect by any means, and have a lot to work with, I feel like i am
definitely turning into who i want to be. interesting, no?

| the product guru's guide to it allthings I'm currently obsessed with:
- Pureology Nanoworks Shampoo/ Conditioner:
These expensive babies are what is considered the "Luxury" line from good 'ol Pureology- which I believe, is one of the best damn hair care lines out there. Seriously. The "luxurious" shampoo and conditioner truly are that- totally worth every penny. Both are designed to feed the hair with minerals, vitamins, and crazy amazing ingredients, (Green tea, sugar cane, citrus, wine extracts, and certified organic botanicals of mushroom mucor
miehei,
shitake and mannetake, among many others, not including a large amount water) that essentially leave your hair feeling and looking like (ghasp) healthy hair. (What a concept) And what color? Pureology has a money back guarantee that your color wont fade. Also, no animal testing, sulfate free, and completely vegan, for all you tree huggers out there. Its pricy, but as theres little to no water in the formula's, you dont need to use much, ergo, actually saving you money. Trust me. Its awesome.
- Dermalogica:
Completely researched and developed by the International Dermal Institute (doctors) so they know what the heck is up. Their product line covers it all, so theres lots to choose from. Hundreds of dermatologists and estheticians backing it up seems like a pretty good indication of what works. - Uggs:
you know why.
- BareMinerals:
I've pretty much stopped breaking out now that I dont have cakey makeup sinking into my pores. Its natural minerals, not synthetic fillers, so your skin is able to breathe. I love it. - Alterna Hemp Leave in Conditioner and shine spray: nourishing, not heavy- pricey too, but again, well worth it.
- Okami:
Gamecube story game about the Sun God, Amaterasu (who in fact is a female white wolf) who's life task is to restore nature health and beauty to the world.Art looks somewhat like a combination between Japanese watercolor paintings, and Zelda's windwalker for gamecube. Speaking of which, Zelda lovers beware- this one will have you hooked from the opening story line. - O.P.I.:
Nailpolish line that has like, a gazillion colors with a gazillion different finishes etc. professional line, long lasting, super adorable. Fav. colors of the moment: Lincoln Park After Dark, Opening Night Champaign, Birthday Girl - Depeche Mode- "Songs of Faith and Devotion"
the only word to describe this album is epic. Its even hard to describe. as noone sounds like them on this album- go look for the song, "One Caress"- after that song, you'll be convinced.
as for an actual update, im working my butt off and i value my friends family and sleep. I was recently ill, and am now up and about again, which is nice. I also just lost a friend of mine in a car accident- please pray for her family.
blesses and sneezes

| i wish i had a peanut treeanyone else think growing up sucks? bills full time jobs having to wake up at 8:30 every morning even after nights where you roll into bed around 4... ::sigh::
where did my life go in the last year??? made a complete 360 ill tell you that.
yes yes, life is interesting. my feet hurt from work, and now i have to go do laundry (bla bla bla)
not that I'm complaining... its nice to have the credibility now to be treated with respect (please note: i may look it, but i am not 14, and do not needed to be treated so) One thing i am super grateful for is that over this last year, I've somehow managed to gain a bit of self dignity, which means that if you mess with me, you better expect it coming back to you.
(please note: I actually had a great day and am not at all feeling hostile.. these are just random and completely unorganized thoughts... something new for me? ahahaha)
an actual little update: life is...... good! (ghasp- good?? seriously?? TY??) Im moving in with Steven on December first so we are spending most of this weekend hunting craigslist for a cottage somewhere near Northpark. I'm super excited because I'm itching to have my own little herb garden (Steven cooks, so we can use it in our food ) Also. I'm dying for some peace and quiet on the mornings i have off, which i sadly cannot get at my apartment right now.
i forgot about the laundry. (typical ty)

| five, four, three, two, one...wow... its 2006. Insane, no? I do think so. I spent part of New Years Eve at my parents party, then took off for a party at Steven's friends house, which was a lot of fun. I love hanging out with Hana when i get to... she and i never seem to really have enough time for each other. I did cut her hair on Saturday though, so that was pretty cool- she came all the way down to my school and hung out for the majority of the day. I loved it! Speaking of school, I go out on the floor this Friday... which means that Iam no longer a Freshman... which means that I have to actually cut real hair on real people that will be my clients. Oh my. Thats terrifying. Seriously terrifying.
Yesterday was spent making food (New York Strip Steaks and my famous spaghetti with italian saussage) and watching movies with Steven. We have been dating for.... uhm.. four months? I think so. Its been a wonderful four months actually. Im really really happy, can you believe it? Hes amazing... I totally dont deserve him. But for some strange reason, God decided to bless my life with him, and i wont forget it
Here are a few pictures I have:
this is a colorization for a blend challenge site, like it? aaaand.........
I took this at my great grandmothers house in Pomona today. Theres more, but ill post them later.
