| Breathe in for luck,
breathe in so deep,
this air is blessed,
you share with me.
This night is wild,
so calm and dull,
these hearts they race,
from self control.
Your legs are smooth,
as they graze mine,
we're doing fine,
we're doing nothing at all.
My hopes are so high,
that your kiss might kill me.
So won't you kill me,
so I die happy.
My heart is yours to fill or burst,
to break or bury,
or wear as jewelery,
which ever you prefer.
The words are hushed lets not get busted;
just lay entwined here, undiscovered.
Safe in here from all the stupid questions.
"hey did you get some?"
Man, that is so dumb.
Stay quiet, stay near, stay close they can't hear...
so we can get some.
My hopes are so high that your kiss might kill me.
So won't you kill me, so I die happy.
My heart is yours to fill or burst,
to break or bury, or wear as jewelery,
which ever you prefer.
Hands down this is the best day I can ever remember,
I'll always remember the sound of the stereo,
the dim of the soft lights,
the scent of your hair that you twirled in your fingers
and the time on the clock when we realized it's so late
and this walk that we shared together.
The streets were wet
and the gate was locked so I jumped it,
and I let you in.
And you stood at your door with your hands on my waist
and you kissed me like you meant it.
And I knew that you meant it,
that you meant it,
that you meant it,
and I knew,
that you meant it,
that you meant it.

| Sometimes I think we'd be better off as friends, but then it's times like these that I want to be with you so bad.
It's not fair for you to drag me along. It's not fair for me to expect too much. Catch-22. I know what's best for the two of us, but it's not what I want.
I'm selfish.

| okay, so i got a job. at the home depot. not exactly what i was planning on, but if i can make a little extra money now and find another job (SOON), then I guess it'll be okay.
so, the olympics are never something I really really anticipate, but when they're on, I actually get excited to watch them...I mean, men and women coming from all over the world to compete, not for land or money or oil, but for the mere fact that they love their country and their sport. it's pretty awesome if you think about it. there's such comradary among all the athletes in the sports. I mean, so far, I've only watched women's indoor volleyball, men's gymnastics, and men's and women's swimming. with the exception of the gymastics, there's been a lot of hugging and congratulations with everyone competing. amazing, if you consider the world we're living in...i'm hoping badmitton or table tennis will be on sometime...lol
i finally came up with a plan for my life. Step one: earn lots of extra money to pay my loans from muskingum. Step two: take the GRE. Step three: go back to school and get my Masters in English composition and rhetoric. Step four: get hired by a local college (Akron, Wayne, Wooster, Kent...something...) as an English professor...It seems easy enough, but just the extra schooling is going to take me two years...we'll see. A lot of the local schools have quite a few positions open for english professors, so i'm hoping the need will still be there.
i still would rather be in chicago, though...lol
until later...

| so, i stressed the hell out of myself yesterday going to that job interview. Problem one: I left too early, so I was just sitting in the parking lot basically hyperventilating. Then, when I tried to open the door, it was locked. :( I pressed the call button until the receptionist noticed (it didn't take too long), and when I stepped inside, I instantly started sweating. I told her why I was there, and I got an official visitor's pass (#9, lol) and went upstairs where I filled out my official application for a job. Then I waited for about 3 minutes and the interviewer came out. We talked for about 30 minutes (in which he expressed his concern of my lack of experience) but by the end, he simply said, "so, when can you start?" I GOT THE JOB! I start in a week. I'll work Monday-Thursday 2pm-11pm and Saturday from 9am-6pm. Full time. Benefits. And I graduated just a month ago. I mean, yeah, it's an entry-level position, but there's opportunity to move up in the company if an opening becomes available. And, like Dad said, if at any point I want to move on to something else, I have the freedom to do that.
Now I have to start saving my money so I can get myself a new car. :D I want a Volkswagen Jetta. BAD. We'll see. I still have a while to go before I'm close to ready to get a car. Plus, I have to start paying my loans here in a few months :( I'll be paying on those from now until I'm 90, I think.
