I need to change my project for this month. I originally said the cupboards, but other things necessitate a change. We ordered a king-sized mattress set. This means that several rooms have to be dealt with, purged, consolidated, rearranged in order to accommodate the addition. So, new project will be to get the toy room purged and cleaned. The Lego room will have to be combined into the toy room. The Lego room will then take our current queen bed along with the boys computer which is currently in the toy room. Lots of shifting and the like will be happening over the course of the next week. This project is way bigger than the cupboards (you've seen pics of the Lego room!).
Wish me luck as I dive in to this nightmarish task. It will be so great to get it done, but a big pain in the hiney during that time. And I am going to want to purge far more than the boys will like, so a battle will likely ensue. I really wish I had some storage in this house in order to deal with some of the stuff. Not sure how to solve that problem yet.
Well, off to dive into the toy room now! If you don't hear from me for a bit, I likely got lost in all the junk. Listen for my SOS!

omgoodness. You have a Lego room? My boys would be in absolute heaven over something like this. My oldest son said of you the other day, "Mom? Remember your friend who likes to make Lego sets? I wish you like Lego sets like that Mommy. She likes Legos as much as me 'n' Picasso. That's so cool." I had been taking a hands off approach to his Legos, letting that be Daddy's things. But the boy has spoken. Guess who is now a Lego mom, too? ;)
This sounds like a big project. Good luck to ya'. That sounds like the kind of project that I preemptively take 2 Advil before starting. Ha!@Life+With+My+3+Boybarians - Yep, a Lego Room. You would simply not believe the quantity around here. I will definitely be hitting the Advil tonight after all the lugging around. You tell those cute boys to come on over here and we'll all build Legos together! I'd love to build with them. I'll be putting up pictures when I get it all nice and neat (well, I'll do the during too so you can see what nightmare it was!).
The Lego room.
I was *just* coming to tell you about a post on the WTM board about Legos. Okay. Well, you might not want to do this, since the Legos now have to share! Anyway, it was to put parts of Lego sets into Easter eggs for your kids. :)I'm going to be posting soon about my February project: The Master Bedroom -- with pictures!Lee
@my5wolfcubs - Yeah, I saw that post and kind of thought - no way are more coming into this house! I could do a recycle job -- but how mean would that be! Can't wait to see your pictures.
