Exciting things going on in the knitting area around here. I decided it was time to learn a couple of new tricks. One, doing a sock from the toe up on 2 circular needles. I splurged a bit last week and bought a couple of pairs(?) of circulars in 2 sizes (2 addi turbos in sizes 1 and 2). I really like them a lot! I have been anxious to get started on new projects as a result.
This first one is the first try at a sock on 2 circulars. I went with toe up because I have a larger foot and wanted to make sure I did not run out of yarn! The yarn is Panda Cotton which is made with bamboo, cotton, and nylon. I adore this yarn. It is nice to knit with and feels wonderful on! The pattern is Snake River. It looks like cables but is much easier. Love the pattern too!
I could not stop at doing just one thing. So I ripped out the cuff down I started last week and divided the yarn to use to try 2 toes up on 2 circulars. I have the toe area completed and ready to begin the pattern. I think I will do Snake River on these as well. The pattern is nice and simple. I think it will be perfect for this yarn as well.

I don't understand any of this, but the girls will! Looks pretty anyhow. Funny cat up there too!

Love them! It looks like you caught on right away.
Cool! What's the second yarn--some of the Trekking?
