  • little blessings...

    so first of all, if you read all the long garbage at the end of my post yesterday, i had accidently pasted stuff in to my post and had to go back and delete it....  i'm so crazy....

    i woke up at 6 am yesterday (this is early for me, people!) and the boy that was supposed to start yesterday didn't show up.  so i woke up today and he showed up at 6:15.  can we say SLEEPY???  i am having a hard time waking up today!!  but i was so worried this little boy was going to be a problem.  seriously.  when they came to meet me, he didn't do a thing his parents asked.  i was thinking up how i was going to tell his parents it wasn't going to work.  so my little blessing today is that he is really very good.  he's cute as he can be (he's 4) and having a great time playing with the 5 yr old girl i am keeping.  **shew**  thank you Lord for small blessings!  i have one more opening, so hopefully the family that is coming over tonight to interview will take that one. 

    that will leave me with 2 full time and one part time in the fall.  perfect since i'll also have my granddaughter, Addi then too.  she'll just be here a few hours a day, probably only 3 days a week.  so that, along with my CM business should work well.  wow, what a blessing all of this is.  we're not rich, but it helps for the little extras for sure.   

    talked to the girl last night.  she was getting her list of things together to bring to my house for the baby.  i'm getting excited to have her here.  i'm going to have to put the playroom together better very soon.  i have a crib, but need a mattress and we really need to get a junior bed for kylie while i'm at it.  i wanted to paint, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.  so maybe i'll get bedding, do some wall hangings and curtains to add some color in there.  hmmm.... guess i better make a list for that room....

    i also just heard from someone for sewing a nursery set.  i priced it well, it takes a lot of work to put them together, and she was very happy with the pricing!  go me!  i'm excited, we'll work through details and hopefully get started very soon.  more blessings.... 

    alrighty, ya'll have a good day.  it's hot here, but i love it!  thank you Lord for this life....
