Prayer Request
Asking prayers for Ross as he broke his left thumb tonight playing basketball...he is at an urgent care place as I type this (all the way over in Hiram where he plays ball).....PRAYING it does not need surgery!!! This is one of those times I'd like to have a face to face chat with God and just ask "Why?"......it's awful timing for us and I'm sure he has a reason but it's one of those times I'd like to know what was going thru his mind??
Anyway....just think of him and add him to your prayer list. Thankfully, it's his left hand.

Let us know additional about the injury. Be thankful for insurance. Dad and I both will keep him on special prayerlist. Is there anything I can do. I am going to lake to see Gin (Thornton) Willis, Jay and Mimi this weekend. Have (Did) you any special Mother's Day plans? My outpatient knee surgery is scheduled for May 14 at Northside.
How's Ross's thumb? I hope he didn't have to have surgery.
IRYC: You're right -- your kiddos were the only missing cousins on our vacation! It was very strange and last second, how Tina ended up going. We were going to leave in a couple weeks, and I mentioned where we'd be. She figured out (courtesy of the internet) that we'd only be 30 minutes from Mobile, where she was already shooting a wedding. She said she and Chris had decided that they weren't doing a summer vacation because of gas prices. But since they were practically there anyway, they decided to rent a condo, instead of staying in a hotel in Mobile for several days.
I want to plan on coming to the lake with y'all this summer. I told my neighbor I'd "dogsit" her dogs over the 4th (when we usually come down), but look at your calendar and let me know, when you want us to try and come. And/OR Anna and I were talking about how we should camp this summer, now that Luke would sleep in a sleeping bag. What's the name of the campground (or State Park or whatever) that's close to our end of 316?
