| | OK, so i thought another update was in order. There has been some exiciting news on the European front. No there's not another war brewing there, but it does have to do with brewing...This year during Oktoberfest in Berlin, Germany on October 1st is the World Beard and Moustache Championships (http://www.worldbeardchampionships.com/). So now I apparently will be in Germany by October 1st! Word on the Street is that the Jason Stauffer might be making his way out there, I hear he has a pretty awesome 'stache and will be winning all sorts of competitions. The rest of you are all invited as well- it should be freaking amazing!
I am also planning on going to Turkey and Morrocco on the trip so I can say I have been to Asia and Africa along with Europe. A few other places I would like to go include Italy, France, Amsterdam (hee hee), Spain, and Greece. I am also looking into spending some time at an orphanage type thing in Romania (that's right, where Dracula lives). Really, only God knows my plans, so we shall see where I ultimately end up, but I am betting on Berlin in October.
A question I get alot is- "Are you going alone?" Well here's the current status of that, I have 2 guys who are potentials, and a handful of co-workers for the summer that are potentials also, but currently I am flying solo. The camp that I will be working at though, apparently about half the staff goes and travels afterwards, so hopefully I'll find some friends in all of that. Then my 2 friends...My first friend is this guy from LCCC named Sean. He's awesome, and we are working on getting the trip payed for with school grants and writing a book and doing a documentary on it. It would be amazing if that worked out! The other guy is a friend from Colorado and he is a wine expert. This guy know everything about wine, it's amazing! He would definately be a plus on the trip, since he would be a total stud, and I am a firm believer of the trickle off effect.
Well that's all the latest news for now. I will be in PA from about June 5th-17th and would love to see people. I am busy the 6th and 7th, but besides that I am free so drop a line if you want to get together.
