40 Days Away
Lent is beginning tomorrow.
I received so much deep, healing good this past year that I am certain that this Lenten season I need to do better than sacrificing the Splenda in my morning coffee (dear as that is to me
). I'm going to give up this Xanga site!! (here comes the withdrawal
) So for the next 40 days I'll be largely out of touch. [Those of you whose religious tradition doesn't include Lent may be interested to know that Sundays are never supposed to be fasting days; they are always feast days, so I may drop in on Sundays and see how you all are doing.]
In the meantime, I'll miss you all. Enjoy your Fat Tuesday evening, and I'll see you on the other side!
[Edit 2/5/08, 10:08 PM--Even though I won't be blogging, I will answer private messages. You won't be bothering me!]

Temptation. You know it has to happen sometime.

@Roland_Drake -
I have missed you all! The spiritual abuse muse does not seem to be with me anymore. I think that might be called healing, but I'm not sure!
@MrsDarcy_MrsDarcy_MrsDarcy - Well, if that is so, all the better. At least you will know what the ones to be healed will look like.
You could keep the blog and rework some of the aspects of it. Or just work it into another one.
@Roland_Drake - What kind of reworking are you thinking about?
Keep the stuff that's here, but build upon it. Not everyone knows that they need healing. Hence the keeping of the stuff about being abused. And then start talking about things that will help people heal. It would be something you could pray about and talk with your wise hubby about as well. Did you notice how many people were drawn here by the things you were showing them? Ever wonder why people go to hospitals?
Sometimes we don't even know we are hurt or broken, but when we do, we want the pain to stop and the healing to begin.
Just so you know, I like your stuff. All parts of it. I have all my stuff on one blog. It doesn't always interest everyone else, but I do what I need to for me. If people come along and discuss it with me, great. If not, that's great too. And when I see someone else saying things that touch my heart, I am engaged and want to share their interests as well.
But those are just some of my thoughts. Phhh! Blew off a little dust in the corner.
