| FRIEND OF THE WEEK: ALICE WONG
hey everyone, heres the story of Alice Wong...well, shes a young one, about to be a sophmore in college, the University at Albany to be exact, and since her first semester here, we have grown to be exceptional friends. During Asian Occasion practice of November 2001, we were both in the Chinese formal wedding scene, me being the groom, and her being the maid of honor type person at the chinese wedding thing...well, thats where we first met, and she didnt like me at first...hahah....she said i was mean...making a comment about someones hair is not mean...LoL...but anyways...after that we saw each other at other AO practices and we got to talking...and we pretty much clicked instantly...and we started to hang out more, and we used to go to lunch together and talk a lot...we would talk about the normal, stuff, life, and our problems...which means...her problems because i didnt seem to have much problems..heheh...i try to stay stressed free, and all that good stuff, so yeah...we became great friends through the year, and we still talk a lot, shes in cali right now, with Cali...hehe...and shes coming back soon...then we'd probably spend a lot more time together since we havent seen each other in so long...although this friendship has just begun, i can tell that it will last a very long time, we have grown a bond with each other, and that makes me smile...and hopefully...we'll be able to make each other smile, whenever we need it...though im always smiling....thanks alice...=oP
Brother of the Week: LOKI & TRAX
the first ever brother of the week goes to trax and loki...loki, my housemate, the first ever white naphi brother, and trax, my nigga...always down for whatever...both of these brothers are always making me laugh...crazy bunch of fellas these guys
Loki - James S. - He is my housemate, and we have been acquaintences for a quite a while now, but not until this year have we gotten close. I used to know him as the white guy with all the asian friends...but thats about it...we started working together at Burger King, and life was cool...he was a funny guy..i liked him immediately...then one day he started to hang out with us more and more, and what can i say...we loved him from the start...one crazy kid, and you'll never know whats gonna come out of his mouth next...hes always there for me whenever i need him...whether it be to take me to work, or to pick me up from work...hes always there...very reliable....good shit my white brother...LoL
Trax - Andrew K. - heres one of the craziest sons of bitches i know...hahah....if it werent for his crazy antics and crazy sense of humor, i dont know where i would be now...from the first time i saw andy..i can honestly say, i wasnt expecting much from him...skinny korean guy in the back of the group who never said a word...NOT A WORD...quiet as a motha fucka...but after he pledged, and we broke that shell...he has turned out to be one of the most outstanding people i have ever known...his jokes are crazy funny, and his personality is wonderful...andy is one of those people who surprised me by becoming crazy outgoing, fun loving, and a great brother...he got his car recently, a VW 337 GTI and its beautiful...he can be seen cruising around albany and making RANDOM trips to GOD KNOWS WHERE at GOD KNOWS WHAT TIME OF THE HOUR...he surpassed my expectations of him for being one of my favorite brothers, and one of my favorite friends...peace out homie... |
