Our first day of work

Today was our first day of actual work.  We arrived at the site and immediately Brady stepped on a nail.  Then we took a walk to an above ground cemetary.  On our way to the cemetary we met a lady who showed great appreciation that we had taken the time to come down and help out with the rebuilding of the city even though her and her husband were doing all of the work themselves.  We began working and my group was assigned to tear down a shed.  We took down the siding and then took down the rotting walls.  With all those nails sticking out of the boards, someone was bound to step on one, and i got to be the lucky one.  After we finished working for the day we went to the hospital clinic so that i could recieve a Tetnis shot but everything is fine (the nail didnt go that deep).  The food has been great and the evenings are relaxing.  The church is not what i expected, but that makes it feel more like a house than a church.
