What would you do if someone broke into your home while you were sleeping?

What would you do if someone broke into your home while you were sleeping?

I would probably sleep threw it. If I woke up during the attempt I know exactly what I would do because I have thought this scenario threw. Mostly because I woke up one time in the middle of the night thinking someone was in the house when there wasn't really anyone there. I would search out my cell phone and then make as much noise as possible pretending to be alone while trying not to seem aware of the individual intruding on me.
Problem is my cell phone is never charged or near me in the middle of the night. So I would have to probably pass by the intruder to find it.
I think I would just pretend I was asleep while they took everything in the house and hopefully they would let me live out a happy and safe life.

Omgoodness....sleep thru an intruder in your house???

I am a light sleeper, I would be calling 911 before he got his other foot thru the window!!

I would call 911, I keep my phone on my bed at night, because the plug I use to charge it is right next to my bed.

I'll be damned if I let some fuckers take not only my stuff, but my familys stuff too.

i would get my Colt 357 magnum gun and probably shoot myself with it because i would be so scared.

seriously though, many years ago when i lived in Hialeah, Florida two men tried breaking into my front door while i was asleep during the day(i worked the midnight shift). the deadbolt stopped them from getting in and they ran away when they saw me. Stupid me opens the door unarmed and starts yelling at them as they get into their car and speed off.
