| | Coco lost his fear of sticks tonight. At least sticks that have bristles on them and make his furr feel nice. Coco has always been skiddish. Our little dog beats up on him. And loud voices make him cower. He was probably traumatized as a pup. I mean he was left to fend for himself in life at a very young age and no one must have loved him for a while before he happened to fallow me and my dad home. Of corse I love every little stray animal that comes along. All the unloved things in the world have a place in my heart. I would not let one pass by without noticing their need. I would wish to erase all the pain they have felt and ease their troubled minds. Coco's finding his place in this world. He has a home. He has someone to love. He has a little food (which he doesn't mind begging for occationally). And he has someone to walk with. It's all anyone could ask for... but he occationally asks for more... He likes to chew. Wood mostly but occationally he'll find a brick buried beneath the dirt where he likes to roll around. Thankfully he doesn't swallow them... None of those emergency vet bills. They can get expensive. He finds amusement in stray insects. He occationally finds himself on the wrong end of a cat's claw and hiss. Today he sniffed cat butt. And she missed... It's interesting having dogs and cats... they interact rather strangely.
