Being owned

I think some of my students think they own me... Perhaps I should not be so accommodating anymore. This probably conveys the impression they can ask anything of me and then get upset when I can't.

You should get an evil secretary. That way, people don't get upset at you and redirect their ire elsewhere.

But yes, considering you're one of the best professors there, your good relationship with your students can turn out to be a double-edged sword. KF

remind them that you are the one who gives them their grade and have control of 10% of it. an A can easily be a B. a C can easily be a D.

Yea. Sometimes students suck. I am not in the mood today to deal with ungrateful, whiny, annoying students. I have had my fair share of them this week alone. Argh.

I can't say I'm innocent to taking advantage of Onigiriman hospitality but I can say that I do appreciate you.

I agree with Kaiser. An evil secretary would be great =D One that can do a good shiri pen pen for the huge brats.

you have a unique relationship w/those students of yours- one many others envy. doesn't mean that there aren't ups and downs w/it, but they do love you! :)

Yea.. kids... they can complain about anything... even though they are ones that being ridiculous. If you ever own a japanese samurai sword, bring it to class someday, so that they will be intimidated... wamahahha.
