  • The Day I was born I cried, and every day since explains why

This is a view of Dublin  from the other (North side) of the Liffey...  today,  or right now at least,  the sun is shining. Hit refresh,  this camera moves about somehow.  Btw, by the way the north side of Dublin is full of Low lifes  who always slag of south siders.  There's always been this north side/ south side divide.  Its totally innocent,  just alot of jokes.

    Its not working....  damn northsiders..

Today  there are people in my thoughts.... people who need a bit of help...  I'm scared for one of my friends. Some things are just not fair. It will be a testing time where there's already been plenty of testing.  Its proably best to stay possitive and just be there for him no matter what the time.

However,  it is Friday,  its time to move office.  And I'm moving to one with a window. can't wait.  Although I have a beautiful sollitude here in my little dungeon its just not nice working in an office without windows.  I'm sure its illegal.  I'll sign off and pack up my desk.

This is a photo of my parents,  some 36 years ago,  have to say,  I don't think I've ever seen my Dad looking so young.  For most of my life he's had grey hair. They look kinda funky all the same.

I called them up last night after I'd had most of a bottle of wine. Invited them down to connemara on the 15th of October.  Its just two nights but it'll be fun I'm sure. I'm getting gradually concerned about how much quality time I'll have with them over the next few years.  What is the average age? There's been alot of movies on TV all about it lately.  "Big Fish" being the one most worthy of note. So I guess, even though I value my own free time so much,  I should still make some room to do the proper, important things.

I caught a glimpse of my dads mobile yesterday,  its a camera phone... the background on the screen  was a picture of him and I.  I'm either turning into a blubbering mess or I'm getting old.  Actually thinking of staying in this evening just to get my company stuff done.

    Anyway.

    Here's Me again

This is the youngest photo of me I can find....  Check out my Handmedown Nappy...

My husband is getting close with his dad again in this late twenties time of life, too. His parents have always moved around for his dad's job (he & his sis were real close cuz of changing schools & friends a lot) & he hasn't really had a chance to get to know him up til now, so he's doing some of the same "blubbering mess" stuff you talk about. It's nice to know "you guys" can blubber along with us girls - even if it takes til your twenties or even thirties to show it.
