I'm totally wrecked,  having paved, cemented,  constructed a shed...

    At least its over now.

My left thumb is slightly flatter,  I hit it with the hammer and split it open,  lovely...  with thanks to my father for helping with leveling the shed. I smell like grass and wood and dirt.  All I feel like is lying down and sleeping for three days.

I'll have some new photos tomorrow.

    Something to ponder.

That's alot of work.  I thought you were planting flowers!  It looks warm there.  We just had some light snow the other day.  Stop by later and check out my purple living room.  I'll be posting some more pictures tonight.

    Your backyard looks wonderful, Owen!

I'm going to try and sneak into the graveyard, a difficult task, mind you. For some reason, the caretaker won't let people inside unless they're putting someone down. I don't know why. I went a week or so back and to wander around, but he kicked me out and tried to confiscate my camera. I gave him a "Bitch, please," look and ran away.

It's worth it though. Scariest freaking graveyard I've ever seen.

Mom will be okay, I hope. I'm just in a place where it's all I think about.

Have a good week, you hear!

Thats alot of work...it will be worth it when you can sit back there with a pint and friends.
My daughters need to see that video...media is so warping and deceptive...projected beauty instead of inherent beauty that never fades.

Love the video.  Very true.  I know two 13-year-olds I need to show that to.  After doing their makeup this weekend and listening to them tell me what exactly is wrong with their face, makes me want to cry.  Gorgeous girls and no one ever tells them that.  Poor things.

OMG, people around here would kill for grass like yours! but yeah, i just saw that video on TV for the 1st time this morning - i had just mentioned to my husband a couple of nights ago how women would have much better images of themselves if they used 'real' women as models - but alas, it will not change in my lifetime
