  • I went to see Brendan Grace with Denise last night.  Its been a while since we've gone to see anything.  We did our usual thing when we go to the gaiety theatre.  We could not find our seats so opted for one of the free space we saw in the expensive seats.  It requires some brass balls to walk into the posh seats,  the ones surrounding and above the stage. Usually reserved for the dignitaries.. for the most they are reserved for corporate business.  Invariably corporate business don't get rid of all their tickets so there's usually some free boxes.

One cannot just wander into a box  at the start of a show,  some stealth is required. One must wait somewhere in the building until the ushers have gone to have their smoke break.  Then and only then is it safe to excuse ones self from whatever crap chair you bought over the internet  and move to an unoccupied box.

When booking your tickets, always book the back row at the upper most level.  Purely for the vantage point.

When walking to any box one must remain stone faced,  looking oblivious, do not look down.

The performance was a trip down memory lane for me...  It brought back memories of 1982,  miming a song Brendan wrote.. ..  I was taking part in a school talent contest.  I came 4th, mainly because I cried going on stage...  and said "you's are all looking at me"..  I also came 4th  cause I used one of Brendans very funny songs and mimed along with it. Brendan Grace was my idle.

For the most part I was back in the 80's..    I remember Dublin city,  in the rare old times....

Its saturday,  there's a chill in the air,  I'm sitting in the garden, listening to bach

    http://www.radioblogclub.com/open/100499/bach/Bach%20-%20Pachebel%20-%20Canon%20for%20Three%20Violins%20%26amp%3B%20Cello

Winter is most definitely on its way,  although some of the flowers in the garden still think its summer.  Late bloomers... aren't we all.

Today won't be too exciting,  I intend of course to take photos of whatever stumble across my lens.  I intend to capture some of mother natures changing scenery.

In other news,  I started my new project last night...  http://www.diaryroom.ie/  .  Lets just say, between 1:30am and 3:35am  I was building a web server and constructing a web site.  I can obviously do these things in my sleep.  I acquired the site name last week  and am about to go public.  50% of the work was completed last night. I'm hosting the site from my home.

More details to be revealed later.
