No Better place to spend my b-day
Spanish Point in Co. Clare...
We started out at 6am... and made it there for 10:30... a day worthy of memory..
There is a 1024 version of this in my photo blog..
Michael Murphy
It was a very sad day in one way, even if the weather was beautiful... Ann was very respected and loved... The priest did well to hold in his own emotions. It wasn't so easy for me.
Ann left this world too early, as in a lot of situations.. and its visible the difference between a funeral for an elderly person. Its a trying time for a man, and for me especially. Empathy is grown from witnessing such moments for ones self, such expedited departures...
There's plenty of time to consider things during a funeral, where you mull over your own losses and emotions that are bottled up inside. feeling your own loss.
I cannot imagine having to face such a day as donna had yesterday, it would kill me...
Emotions come in waves

In 100 years we'll all be bones
But some people leave an impression

happy birthday sorry about your loss
Happy Birthday Owen...have a great week-end...
Beautiful photos..Happy Birthday.
Funerals really do make you stop, think, and reconsider things in your own life. I recently had someone I know who was a few years younger than me die. I didn't make it to her funeral, but my dad did, and he came back with a whole new perspective on things.
