i love the pic of the coins, is it yours?  I notice it doesn't have your signature on it

The one of all the shell pieces is like a kaleidoscope, so much to look at!  All those tiny fragments get walked on and pushed around, but close up they're like miniature works of art. . .and then that bigger shell looms in the corner. . .very pretty, though.  And I think the coins pic is so cool, just because it's so incongruous--finding money in rocks?  But I guess that's what we do, get metals, make coins, spend them....then give some back to the rock to keep.  I love how the coin edges are melted and starting to resemble the rock's surface. =)

@eadie - I don't always sign my photos,  its not that important to me if someone steals one of a coin,  but I never use any photo other than my own...    I put those coins in that rock  about ten years ago.

hahaha, I see Mr. Potato Head too.

I like sandy beaches. Are these beaches on the east coast?

The first and last. They make me feel all googly inside. Yes, I said googly. It's a good thing.

I always love your photos. They inspire me to be better.

    I hope you're well.

the first made me gasp in delight, the others made me insanely jealous that you have this area at your fingertips, whereas for me it's a wad of cash and a plane flight away.

thanks for giving me a dream. :)

    I don't know why,
but the coin one amazes me.
    These are all so beautiful!

Really? I would think going to school
in Ireland, school life would be awesome.

    ..
    did that make sense?

  • fauquet

The number 1 and number three enchant me .
    In the past we looked at the sand with a big binocular magnifying glasses . It was amazing and we could say according the type of criystals of the sand what was its origin;

i like also the picture with troglodyt birds .

Ooh, I like that idea, taking the day off to go explore a purdy beach...

  • TheDirtOnDi

they were all captivating... i thought the coin was neat- looks like the rock fell it and got stuck there... how, i dont know.

  • john9ten

I love the ocean...the beaches in Ireland are so beautiful..those last two pics, amazing. How can one look at something like that and not feel insignificant...it is truly awesome. I LOVE the one with the shells..and I saw Mr. Potato Head too!

Thanks for making the world more beautiful with your photos. Adding art to the world is so important.

A bit of difficulty here for me.  I think all the images are nice and clear but the coins are not something I would hang on a wall even if it didn't look like a tounge sticking out and though the sea shells are nice and clear I look at it like a background in this instance.  The other images are nice but I am not into shades of pink unless I really love the image.  Some images give me a cotton candy sweet sick feel inside so I shy away from them.  One of the internets most famous, and I can't even think of his name I dislike his work so much, has lots of pinks and other cotton candy colors in it.  So, for me, I'll pick the image that appears more orange than pink, chosen strictly because of colors, "Say it with me  (moy Rus)   Moirus beach".

    Super day to you Owen.

  • OwenHiggins

@LittleEgypt - thanks , I appreciate it...  I'm not a fan of the sunset...  but I use them to pick up the mood during at the start of the week.  They were all I had to try to make me feel better.

    Mood dictates the image
