Well, here we are. Those of you reading this likely know how this works far better than I do, so bear with me, please! Your patience and my persistence may result in something rather fun!

Many of you may be wondering where I've been for the last several years. Answer: in northern Idaho ensconced in a lovelyVictorian-style farmhouse (the closest I'll ever get to Pemberley) and with my own "Mr. Darcy," better known as my husband of 4 years, Michael. I've been busy at my day job as Director of a small public library over the state border in Washington while he works across the street from said library as a technical writer for a software company. We carpool to work and often have lunch together. Ah, life is sweet!

More to the point, you may be wondering if anything more has flowed from my metaphorical pen--and the answer is yes, lately there have been some effusions. Aside from writing the next Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman book, I'm also working on an online novella series called Young Master Darcy. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

    Thus endeth the blog...

Okay, The Xanga Team doesn't count as a real reply because they have to be nice to everybody! So, I'LL do it!

Welcome to the neighbourhood, Lady P. I look forward to stepping over and keeping track of Young Master D.

    Take care--Susan

Hi! Thanks for inviting me to be your friend. :)  My xanga blog is completely separate from my writing blog (you've probably figured that out), but you're welcome to peruse it if you're bored and have nothing better to do than explore the other parts of my life. :)  I'm so looking forward to your new work, and to seeing what you write on this blog!

    Congrats on the first post!

As I am still learning the finer points of Xanga, I may have missed sometihng.... there will be a book (more books) to the Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman book series?  Will the story be in conjunction with the novella about young Darcy, or will it continue on where the third book left off (for those of us who want to know what happens to Georgiana and Darcy's friend Dy?)  I was unable to look at the link for the novella   Whenever I try to access it, Xanga tells me it no longer exists.  Despite the Xanga quirks, this is all great news, and I will be happily anticipating new work from you!

Hi Lady Pamela! I'm so glad to know you are working diligently to delight your readers. I don't really do the blog thing myself, but I have an account so I can check on friends/family. Now I have yours to read, too, so I consider it quite a treat!

    Bless you,
    Annmarie

Dear Pamela: Thanks so much for your books. I absolutely loved them. I was wondering too if you were continuing the story with Dy and Georgiana...I would love to read about them and the continuation of Mr. Darcy's world. Thanks again!

I have been in heaven while reading your Fitzwilliam Darcy trilogy and can hardly wait for a continuation of these beautifully creative books. I want more of Fletcher, his new bride, the Roquet and the Bonheure; Dy and his daring exploits and heartfelt yearnings; Richard's scallywag, yet honorable ways; the sweet strength of Georgiana; and the delightful Witchers - but I especially crave more of Darcy and Elizabeth and their new love, and the further adventures of the adorably mischievous Trafalgar! When might we expect the sequel?
