Beyond The Gates of Splendor - Part 1 and Part 2
This is an abbreviated version of the story of missionary pilot Nate Saint and fellow missionaries Roger Youderian, Ed McCully, Pete Fleming, and Jim Elliot who went to Ecuador in 1955. Steve Saint has a ministry that continues to help the native tribes in Ecuador. See http://itecusa.org/ to learn more about his ministry. The songs in this video were written and sung by Steven Curtis Chapman. The songs are "God is God", "For the Sake of the Call" and "Children of the Burning Heart".
For those who were asking for more William Lane videos, here is a juicy good one. William Lane Craig dealing with one of the silly objections that Richard Dawkins and other Atheists like to use.

Illusionists day out.
This post will be different from the theological posts that I usually put on this blog. I do not intend to change the focus of this blog from a theological one to an entertainment one, but this post will be one of the few exceptions.
Yesterday, I performed "street magic" to strangers for the first time with a group of fantastic magicians. Learnt a number of interesting technical tips by Reuben, Jason and other that I am hoping to apply in my next performance. Photos here can also be found on Shaun's website. I'll add more when I receive photos from others as well.
This is what happens after our fork-mind bending routine where we bend forks "with our mind". And yes. Those are normal spoons not gimmicked ones.
how to eat pizza like that! a bent fork…
Below: Dinesh. Shaun's friend who came along to support him. He got bullied by the other illusionists haha. in other words, he was the group’s guinea pig. they performed countless amounts of tricks on him. The look on his face simply said it all about the tricks. Gave him the spoon to keep as a souvenir.

Gave out a few Australian Million Dollar Bills as well. Dinesh is holding one below.
Here we have Jason give some tips on improving technique. His technique is excellent. He's doing a coin vanish routine here.
And last but not least, that is me in the T-shirt.
