| | A funny thing happened a little bit earlier...The kid's computer had frozen on us, the screen completely black. I could move the mouse, but I couldn't turn it off, couldn't log off, nothing. I didn't want to unplug it, as I was afraid of losing my story. Finally, there was nothing else to do, so I made the experiment. But it was the wrong plug! So I did the other plug, and waited for a second. Molly was standing next to me, watching, and she told me calmly, "It's all right, Rachel, your story's going to be okay." I turned on the computer, and my story was completely intact, all the way to where I'd left off. But the funny thing was, I hadn't saved it before I left. Well, I've gtg to bed! TTFN! |
