New year. New look. Apropos, I think. Especially considering I'm starting a new life (yet again) so to speak. I'm really excited about the future, the company I work for is a good place to work, as far as mega-sized organizations go, but the thought of not being part of the corporate world is really liberating.
Long-time readers may recall that I eschew new year resolutions. However, I am, in keeping with my life change, planning to be a better blog subscriber.
2008 brings us election craziness, which will be a nice break from the vapid whore craziness of the past year.
Well, happy 2008 to you all. As for me, I am going to spend the day pondering an important philosophical question: Do I have to get out of my pajamas if I don't leave the apartment today?
P.S. you guys are way too kind not to point out my obvious spelling issues.

I'm not big on New Year's resolutions, but I totally agree with the sentiment. If I did had to pick one, I'd like to either loose a few pounds or develop the ability to stop time at will. That'd be great, although I'd be totally nefarious...so its probably best I don't.
RYC: I can only assume he was trying to be clever in a stupid way or he really thought my ass was wide enough to graffiti on. Either way, I wasn't impressed. Still, Rebekah's big book of logic clearly states that you should never pass up the opportunity to screw with someone's brain...particularly if its smaller than your own.
Happy New Year to you as well,Molly. :)
RYC - Absolutely! (FTR, K is the whiskey drinker.) >.Jammies feel to good to take off. Keep 'em on -- hey, even if you decide to leave the apartment. :D
Well, thank you, Molly. I appreciate your message. Like you, I shun making new years's resolutions. However, I have been planning to lose weight...for the past twelve years....without any "stable" success...but before 2007 ended, one week before it ended, viola! I began the arduous journey into becoming a slimmer "me." I hate dieting but it has become necessary and this time I will succeed. Hmmm! could making those emotion-driven resolutions in past years "on that witching day" have been the reason for quitting in mid stream? I kinda broke with that routine/curse and began it a week earlier. Change for the better is always good and I assume it doesn't take the dawn of a new year to commence with being contrite or re-newed. Good for me!!!
Hope to see you stop by during 2008. I am subscribing to you as well. (aka, GraceAnn.)
Definitely keep the jammies on if you go out of the apartment. Otherwise, you'll be nekkid.
Happy New Year, my friend!
RYC - See Charlie Wilson's War for Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Just know that Julia's character helped provide connections -- a bit of flame to light some folk's asses, I suppose. Other than that, feel free to block her out when she comes on screen.
Screenplay was written by Aaron Sorkin. So, if you're any fan at all of The West WIng, I recommend this film. I've heard that the movie is pretty much entirely fact-based.The film's been nominated for 5 Golden Globe Awards.Happy New Year, and thanks for your encouraging words. I hope and pray a better year for both of us.

I go to the grocery store in mah jammies all the time! Being a stay-at-home mom (keyword: home), the public is lucky I grace them with my presence at all, let alone get dressed to do so.
