Should homeschooling be illegal? Why or why not?
No. Parents have the right to decide how and when their children are educated. Unless, of course you want to destroy the rights of the individual, continue crippling the Republic, destroy democracy in America, and just become a socialist nation in a move towards communism.I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

Wait a second, isn't that part of what higher education is supposed to indoctrinate you to believe in?
I don't even understand how they could think of making it illegal, but I know why they would.
Some studies have shown that home schooled kids score higher on tests... and... They tend to "think" for themselves which translates into a person that doesn't just follow people like Bush blindly.!
home schooling should not be illegal as long as guns are.
all students should be required to take the standardized testing handed out by the state in which they are schooled. period.
As one who has homeschooled, of course it should. No kid should be subjected to a parent for 24/7, its just so unfair but no one looks at it from that point of view.
