I'm going to be rather scarce throughout the rest of the month. I may get a post in here and there (I still owe a vid from my delightful lunch with one of the most enigmatic of xangaroos) but, I won't have much time to visit until next month.
So, I thought I would leave you with my latest design obsession.
Ever wish you could live in Bilbo's Hobbit Hole?
Well....you can. Sort of.
Check out the
Monolithic Dome Institute (in Italy, Texas). I so want one of these (though the interior design of some of these are not my tastes, that's why you build your own). Apparently, they are more energy efficient than a standard shaped home.
So, would you live in a dome home?

Is someone taking over the Monday Movie Trivia? I may go into withdrawl... who else but you can understand the genius that is the pre-Entourage work of Jeremy Piven?
"What's this? You're wearing the shirt of the band you're going to see? Don't be that guy."
@BrysonMC - I think you should take it over for the month of May.
A dome home would be kinda cool... but then I really like "alternative" housing, especially of the affordable kind.
But do you have time for one more lunchies with me?
@PunkDiva - but none of your readers go to my site... I don't think most of my readers watch anything like you and I do!
It would be cool to do though!!!
I'd love to live in a dome.... would remind me of Tatooine.
you still coming through Oregon at some point late May?
Have fun, and do lots of stuff I wouldn't do. (You'll have more fun that way.)
I don't care what you say "Hobbit Hole" sounds dirty!
See you soon!
Very very dirty
@BrysonMC - I know you don't know me but can you blow me where the pampers is?? (As far as I'm concerned the ONLY Jeremy Piven is pre Entourage Jeremy Piven
I'm with Punky, take over the Monday Movie Quotes while she is in route and we'll do a special video tribute when she's here!!
@PunkDiva - If you have any chance, can you let them know I'll do the Monday Movie Trivia on my site? I have some great ones in mind already. Finally, my Film Degree will be useful!!!
"My Johnson Is 12 Inches Long. "
"Interesting, but I don't think it's a band name."
@BrysonMC - @flibbertygibit - OMG I flove you both.
How about Oedipus and the Mama's Boys?
This post brought back memories. My tent was pitched in the area called Bag End at one week-long rock festival. At least I think it was a week long, too much sex n drugs n rock n roll messed up my sense of time. Amazing really how I remembered my address
