Joy Comes in the Morning
by W.J. & Gloria Gaither
If you’ve knelt beside the rubble of an aching,
broken heart,
When the things you gave your life for fell apart,
You’re not the first to be acquainted
with sorrow, grief, or pain,
But the Master promised sunshine after rain.
Hold on, my child, joy comes in the morning;
Weeping only lasts for the night.
Hold on, my child, joy comes in the morning;
The darkest hour means dawn is just in sight.
To invest your seed of trust in God in mountains
you can’t move, You have risked your life on things
you cannot prove; But to give the things you cannot
keep for what you cannot lose . . .
Is the way to find the joy God has for you.
Hold on, my child, joy comes in the morning;
Weeping only lasts for the night.
Hold on, my child, joy comes in the morning;
The darkest hour means dawn is just in sight.

And if you know Jesus ~ Joy will come!
Greater is HE who is in you, than he who is in the world. I'll never forget when all I had in me was enough to say, "Jesus!" and to throw myself into His lap . . . and He fought the biggest battle of my life and saved me from the enemy's hand.
My verse is Revelation 1:18

Jesus has already WON the battle!
These are not some words spoken,
but it is the TRUTH.
Our enemy is a defeated foe . . .
he goes around AS a roaring lion~
he is toothless - he has NO power unless you give it to him!
Jesus IS the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!
The battle is MINE, saith the Lord of Hosts!
Praise God.
We have the victory!
