This is what has been keeping me away from Xanga! It is even a little larger than what I am showing as at the bottom of the puzzle there is a train with people. This puzzle has been quite a challenge. I want to get it done so bad.

I started putting it together on a 'standard card table' two weeks ago Sunday. Eric was home and he said, "Mom, this table is too small for that puzzle. Soooo, we put in an extra leaf to our kitchen table and we moved it there. The first week, I completed the sky, the mountains and little things inside.

Doing it out there was not my cup of tea, so this past Friday I removed everything from the top of the metal desk in my computer room and moved everything there. Now, I have a beautiful system going and it is at least three quarters completed. It's been fun now because I have made  progress.

Hopefully I can have it done by Tuesday. I'll be around soon to see all of you.

Blessings,
Carolyn

My husband loves puzzles. I get bored real easy and begin to pound the pieces that don't fit in place.... any place. I'm so glad God enjoys puzzles and has lots of patients too. Roger Smets came to our church on June 3rd. He is such a blessing isn't he?

Good luck with that!  I enjoy puzzles but it is tough with kids around, will have to wait until they are older and out of the house before attempting any more.  Have fun.

That's a busy puzzle!  I've put together quite a few puzzles that I've glued together and put into picture frames.  We have a completed series of four Noah's ark puzzles hanging up in our hall now.  What will you do with this puzzle when it's completed?

I am a puzzle fiend!!! I have also had the unfortunate experience of trying to find a surface large enough with good lighting, and easy access to all sides in order to complete some doozies!

cool puzzle!  I can't start one - because I stay there until it's finished!  I become positively OBSESSED!

See, and having the puzzle next to the computer, I would be in big trouble!  Two obsessions - people wouldn't see me for days!

I love puzzles, too! Look how many of us have that in common! We have stopped leaving puzzles lying on a table, though. Too many pieces became missing because cats love to eat puzzle pieces  :giggle:

You asked me how I knew you knew Roger Smets....  After he came to our church on June 3rd, I wanted to learn more about him and his ministry. I Googled his name and your xanga site came up. Since I'm a Xangan too, I droped in to say howdy. I love meeting other Christians on Xanga. Back in April I was abel to fly to TX and meet about 30 other Xanga Christians. We had a Christian Conference with our Xanga Heart Beat group and even got to meet our Heart Beat speaker, Sheila Walsh. Very cool. I met Mike (ThexGodXFather) and I think singingmom was there too but not certain about that.  Anyway, I get really excited to find and get to know other Christians and I get especially excited when we have something in common such as Roger Smets . I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

Blessings

I love to put together puzzles, but don't do it very often because I tend to stay up way too late working on it and then I am cranky from lack of sleep the next day and have to go to work, and then as soon as I get home and get supper done, I'm back on it again.  It is hard for me to stop until I get it finished. Enjoy your puzzle.

:sunny:Hi Carolyn!  Hope you've had a blessed week!  Puzzles...I love them...there's one waiting in my closet that is has every type of homemade bread on it you can think of!  It came from the Pillsbury company.  It's a relaxing thing to work on a puzzle!  That one looks so colorful, and with 1500 pieces ...I think I'll get mine out so my husband and I can start on it together...only thing is, he'd want me to bake him up some homemade bread!!  You have a wonderful evening!

:spinning:Blessings all around!!

I LOVE jigsaw puzzles and I never have time to do them! Can I come help you???

I found a site online to do some puzzles...but it's not as much fun as the real thing. We always worked puzzles growing up and my mom still works on puzzles.

Hey, I hope you are having a great week!
