Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come. Psalm 71:18

Dear Carolyn,

Your posts seem to touch me many time, but none like this one did. Thank you so much for sharing what you found. So many thoughts and emotions flooded my mind as I watched and read the captions. I thought of my parents (my father just died 2 months ago tomorrow) as well as my children. It was a good reminder for me not to become frustrated with my mom when the inevitable human failures that come with advanced age manifest themselves. I'll show this to my children in an effort to help them to understand what their grandparents are going through as well as what their parents will go through unless the Lord returns first. (Now that is a great idea from my perspective! It would be fine with me if He were to return before I get this written. But, alas, He didn't.)

Bless you in your ministry to others through your xanga site.

Ron

I agree with so much of what was stated by your first commentor above. This was so very touching, that I sent it to my parents and siblings. We are getting to that place where several of the things in the slideshow apply. Love you much, TS.....{{{{Carolyn2Carolyn}}}}

This post really touched me. I loved it. My mom is getting older but she still does well for an 82 year old. She keeps me  busy these days. The past few weeks have been very hard on her. She is a strong lady and is doing well considering everything. So I hope I can always be there for her and take care of her the way she took care of me when I needed her growing up. Thanks for sharing such a sweet post. Take care.

Awesome! There were quite a few sets that came out that were 5 individual robots who combined to form one bigger robot. If the set he has are neon green and purple and look like construction vehicles(bull dozer, dump trucks, etc) then they would form "Devastator" and the entire team when not combined in the robot where called the "Constructicons." gosh I know too much about transformers!

I had a figure back in the day my uncle gave to me. and years ago I went and checked online to see how much it was worth and some people were selling it for $400 dollars or more! The bigger toys were made of die-cast metal.  I would imagine that some of the value has gone done on some toys however because they have reissued quite a few of the original transformers collection, and have also released newer versions of the most popular characters that are way better than the original.

Ok, thats enough about transformers!

God bless!

I am still crying (sob).  This was one of your beautiful best, Carolyn.  How much we certainly do owe our parents.  We shall always be our parent's child as our's are our own too...and we know how much we love them.  To have the faith that Our Father, in Heaven loves us supremely more, is awesomely astounding.  There is such incredible "tenderness" in this particular post and it moves my soul.  Bless you 1000 x 7 for bringing this "wonder" to us.  I appreciate it more than you can know.

RYC:   Yes I did it all and it's almost an acre.  What got me was that it was 92º at 9:30 a.m. when I started.  I don't know where I got the energy to make a meatloaf, potato salad and a small green salad, take a shower and actually clean up the kitchen.  Y E A H!!!  When you ask Christ for that extra "push"......He just never fails me!  Amen.  He also allowed me to rest/sleep soundly for an extraordinary 11 hours and 45 minutes too.  Can't beat that with a stick, can you?

Yes, dear friend, Jim and I were meant for each other....we met in Heaven before we were born and God saw to it that we would meet again on earth.  Praise Him for His goodness.  God love you... ~  GraceAnn
