see related- Just got in from playing Basketball. I LOOOOOVE playing with my work-peeps. So fun.
- Still praying with a xanga friend this week, and it's just ridiculously cool.
- My toe hurts....Basketball injury.
- Today, I ate a burger and fries from Five Guys. Holy Cow, the French Fries were Ah-mazing.
- I finally rented "There Will Be Blood" -- look out Cdubbs, I'll be letting you know how I feel about it soon. :) I think I'll be watching it in the morning.
- Realized last night as I was praying for someone that Low Expectations are just as bad if not worse as all out doubt.
- I'm about to watch American Idol.
- And Eat some Lucky Charms. Oh yeah.
- Did I mention that my toe hurts?
- I'm complaining, I know. But This is my blog and I'll complain if I want.
- Today was mildly eventful at work. Had a kid threaten to punch a concrete wall as hard as she could in front of me. (She didn't)
- My favorite Summer drink from Starbucks is the Passion Fruit Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
- Mother's Day is Sunday. I'm sad I will not be with moms. :( She was supposed to be here then.
- On a brighter note, she's healing according to schedule and making progress.
- AND, I will be heading back to H-town to visit Moms in June...so I might be there around Father's Day. So goody. We get a double dose of celebratory goodness.
- There's a little thing called Laundry that needs to be done.
- Tonight at Basketball, I told my teammates that I would not be having any other team for as long as we play. I want them on my team. :)
- I know I mentioned it was fun already...but it really was.
- Speaking of awkward...I wasn't but go with me....I ran into a dude whom I went on date with at the beginning of the year (it was a set up) yesterday. It was....awkward. I was again reminded of why there was no reason for a second date.
- I'm hungry. Time for Lucky Charms.
- Thursday is my day off, and I will be watching Iron Man.
- Now, Magically Delicious. And I'm not talking about the cereal....I'm talking about one David Cook. :)
- Off I go now.....

So how's your toe feeling today?
Big confession...I don't think I've EVER eaten Lucky Charms... I've lived a sheltered life.
I MUST know what you thought of There Will Be Blood...and Iron Man is a lot of fun; you'll dig it--Downey is fantastic.
The one that surprised the heck out of me, though? Speed Racer! Never saw the cartoon, the previews didn't do much for me...and it was an absolute blast! Seriously, it was like nothing i've ever seen before!
Ok, so I was slow at reading this this week, but you're killing me with all the goofy Amanda-ness. BTW, since Mr. Castro so obviously blew it, I guess I'm rooting for your boy. I really don't want to see the other David win.
OH yeah & I laughed out loud about running into the date guy. I remember I hate such high hopes before you went... LOL... I remember those awkward moments from before Erik & I were together... or wait, the week that Erik & I broke up (ages ago) & we still hung out together for the first few nights. It was beyond awkward.
@JoshuaKS -the foot was alright. It's still really sore. but it wont' stop me from playing ball tomorrow night. I have my team to uphold (yay team) and one big dude to pay back for my toe.
@mommyfish - really should get some. It's fun to eat. Makes me feel like a kid.
@thedubbs - Just as soon as the review is in, i'll let ya know. I watched Lars and the Real Girl finally today. Liked it. Sweet little flick. :)
And can't wait to see Speed Racer.
