The things I learn about myself. Today one guy said to me, in unconcealed astonishment, after I said something about baseball, "Don't tell me you watch sports! I would never have guessed it!" Later somebody said, "You're always so prim and proper!" My brothers have recently informed me that the things I say lend themselves peculiarly well to being made fun of. I remind a fellow student of Eliza Jane Wilder. One girl says I strike her as an up-at-five-in-the-morning-every-day kind of person.

The concensus seems to be that I'm prim and laughable.
