Yay, Karoline! I love earrings too, especially the dangly ones, heehee.  But not just any danglies, they have to be the right length, they can't be honkin' big or anything ridiculous like that.  Join the E.A. Club (Earrings Anonymous)!  Which also happen to be my initials.  

I 'ear you, Karoline. Your post brings to mind what some of my friends were talking about the other day in reference to the feminine ability to accessorize. The problem is I'm often left dangling or at least thrown for a loop because I'm allergic to a lot of the materials they use.

Now, the question is, does one overcome such an addiction by going cold turkey, or do you just keep wearing smaller and smaller earrings until you forget one day whether or not you're wearing any? There oughta be a patch.

Alas, it surely must have been a spell cast upon us as we were bedangled by that jewler... it is a spell that I, too,  am helpless to overcome.

I confess, for years I posed as indifferent, but finally yielded to my peers' tears and pleadings and did the deed. It's a hole new realm for me: that must explain the thrill.

The point of this discussion may be chrystal clear to some but when it comes to me I'm dumb as a post. I simply pin eprops to the young lady's fine posts...her carat-ter shines through the many facets of her genius.
