Is it weird that I find this woman somehow strangely attractive? Without giving anything away, I'll simply say this: in a recent Guillermo del Toro film she is the twin sister of an evil Elven antagonist bent on destroying humanity with an invincible mechanized army of gold--who eventually falls in love with an amphibious supporting character and helps the protagonists stop her brother from fulfilling his plan.
Don't get me wrong. At first I was put off by her nearly translucent Morlockian paleness, lunar-yellow cat-eyes, and Chemo-patient lack of eyebrows. But my attraction progressed surely, insidiously--
Whoa, freaky...
...she's OK, for an Elven princess...
...
well, I guess she is kind of pretty...
...
you know, there's a certain patrician charm to her...
...
I want to tear her clothes off with my teeth and screw her in a livery stable.

And she dies in the end.
Psh totally gave that away. She's pretty. In a out of this world sort of way.

aside from the eye shadow and the marks on her face. i could see her mildly attractive
>
might see this and THE DARK KNIGHT today.
I will trade you that attraction for the mental image of making out with Billy Corgan (lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins) and then pulling back from a flesh-rotted zombie grunge rocker in my teenage nightmares.
There is a Smashing Pumpkins song that have lyrics that also speak of “her translucent skin”. I think it’s the though of seeing veins and blood rushing and a kind of perversion that stems the fascination…but I’d tap that any day!
WTF! ...flesh-rotted zombie grunge rocker, god!...girls, go figure!
this coming from someone that probably screeches when she sees a tiny spider or a mouse...
she is kind of attractive.... there is a certain beauty in her, that not all people would understand and appreciate.
She's pretty in a weird way, yes.
RYC: Heck yeah they are. Which is sad, because I guess technically, I'm still a teenager. But really. They are.
this is deffinetely one of the more strangly yet beautifully honest entries i have read, haha.. i presume that's the same person who made pans labrynth? it sounds familiar, i am much too lazy to look it up. anyways., nice blog!
@Roninism - So.... are you into necrophilism?
ryc: Mostly, I do. It strangely dissapoints me.
Hot.
Oh my god, you animal.
I thought both her and her twin brother were hot! Mmmmm....
Hahaha, I'll be sure to scold the sun for playing us both ;].
I can imagine how stunning a sunset or even a sunrise would be in the desert. The farthest west I've been are the Black Hills in South Dakota, a very dry place, but definitely not a desert. Where do you live?
<3
Weird bitch is hot.
Yep. Another Palahniuk book.
I can see why you think she's attractive, because in a weird way she really is pretty.
Something like that.
She is attractive in a unique way. I like odd and unconventional beauty, because the fact that someone still finds it beautiful means that it's genuine.
ryc: I don't really see the appeal in fries at all. They're practically tasteless potato chunks until we cover or dip them in something.
i watched that movie last week. it was really good. i hope they make a 3rd.
de-censorize it.
hey, syphilis can be treated as a badge of honor.
Hahahaha. Good post.
RYC: How did you guess!? And no, actually, not for the most part. It does involve quantum entanglement, briefly, however. And I think quantum entanglement is fascinating. So yes. It's a paper on various sci-fi technologies, whether or not they're physically possible, to what degree, etc. Quantum entanglement is an introductory concept in my discussion of teleportation.
ryc: Sure haven't. Why'ssat?
what was great about that movie? when her bro loses his staff/spear and totally blanks out like as if someone stole something precious to him. even more so is that fact that he had no way of getting it back again since his everything dealing with his gut-instinct fighting ability stemmed straight from the root of that damn stick! man. the hero of that movie told that bro he had it coming to him!
heh heh. staff/spear.
