Yea!!!  I am so happy.  See, the last few days the weather has been GORGEOUS!!!  And this week has been very exciting b/c we have had Opening Day for my two favorite ball organizations - the Royals and the Church of Christ Softball Team.  YEA!!!!!!!  There is a light at the end of the tunnel - it's finally spring almost summer!!!

So the Royals.  Not so hot on that Opening Day game, but kudos for today's game.  I was very impressed and uplifted with what I saw.  That is a baseball team.

And softball.  Well, just consider this my standing ovation for an excellent game.  26-8, against a team that had a considerable age advantage (as in way younger) than our guys.  It was impressive.  You know those games where you are just pounding the other team so bad that you start to feel bad and almost wish you could just stop scoring runs?  Yeah, that was last night.  And thank goodness that I won't have this baby (Lord willing) until after softball season is over.  I would hate to think you all would have to keep score for yourselves. 

So, in spite of growing to massive proportions as the days go by, at least now I have something to distract me.  Thankfully there are 162 games in a major league season.  More than enough to keep me busy.
