Don't you hate how when you do laundry, you inevitably forget something?  Something always gets skipped and doesn't get washed.  That irks me.

I also saw advertised on tv a cell phone for 8 year olds.  Really.  That's sad.  And a little scary.  Will that be the norm by the time my kid is 8?  I hope not.

Thank all of you for your supportive comments regarding my fear of having an ugly baby.  I will be totally in love with him no matter what.

Speaking of, I actually did something in the way of trying to get ready for the baby today!  I started cleaning out my closet in the hallway so I could move everything in the bathroom closet out there.  That is so I can put all the baby's linens and towels and things in the bathroom closet.  This was brought on by my going to finish my registry today, and realizing that I have in no way even started to get prepared for a baby.  We're talking nothing.  So hopefully I will start to get some stuff moving this week, inbetween working on VBS and helping Kristin with any wedding stuff she needs help with.

And my granny is a little better, she came home today.  She still has a long battle in front of her, with chemo and all.  But she seemed happy to be at home with people around her.

By the time your kid is 8, he will be implanted with a real-time instant direct thought transfer chip. He will be telepathic. So no, he won't have a phone.

Hey, Katie.  Sorry to hear about Granny Carol.  We all love her and she's in our prayers.  I'm glad she's doing a little better.

Oh, and if your baby's ugly, you'll know it.  But you won't care, and if anybody else does, well, they'll have to tangle with you.  : )  It is true that newborns aren't usually "designer" babies, but neither are they usually a good representation of what the child will look like later.  Don't let the Seinfeld boogie man scare you.  Isn't it amazing what pregnancy does to the imagination?
