You will notice that we are experiencing a change in format, due to the current Chiefs fever at our house. Andy and I went to the game - my first EVER - yesterday, and had an absolute blast, despite the snow. And, thanks to the 'Niners, the Chiefs now have their very own Wild Card. I was so excited last night, I think I scared Andy. And speaking of good football games - did you catch that Boise State-Oklahoma game? Talk about exciting!! It's too bad that the Big 12 did so dismally in bowl games this year. Okay, sorry I'm boring you with football. Our lives have been consumed lately with the 50th anniversary party of Gerry and Lois. Unfortunately, I was so busy working that I didn't take a single picture!! I will try to get Nancy's pictures before she leaves and share them with you. It was a very nice party.
Here is Camden on Christmas morning, helping Papa with his stocking. You will notice the boy versions of the annual pajama pants made by my mom. They have camping stuff all over them.
Camden and Andy checking out the Cookie Monster flashlight while Sissy hangs out in the bassinet and Grammy takes pictures. When you push the button, Cookie Monster's mouth opens to reveal the flashlight and says "Cookie." Except Uncle Adam (the purchaser of this gift) played with it so much the batteries were dying and it really said "Cogggggrrrrrrrrrrrr." On Grammy you will see the green and yellow flowery girls' pajama pants.
Probably Camden's favorite gift - the tunnel.
It's really his favorite when Grammy wears it like a dress.
Uncle Adam decided that Wrigley's new Bumbo seat looked like a cool hat.
Santa's littlest helper.
New Year's Eve at my grandparents', Vicky was doing little exercises with Wrigley. Camden saw all the attention she was getting and decided to mimic everything she was doing.
See?
Then he mimiced Auntie Em, who had been laying on the couch all night. We have all had the flu. Hannah and Camden started it, and since then it has taken down me, Emily, the Houseworths, and half of the visiting California Andersons. Sorry everyone!! Luckily it is only about an 8 hour affair.
My grandparents have an electronic crossword puzzle dictionary that will say words out loud, and Uncle Adam made it say "Hello Camden" and "Are you stinky?".
Camden's gift from Jeff and Nancy was a trip to Build-a-Bear. Here is his bear getting stuffed.
Here is the finished product. I know - you are all very surprised that it is a Royals bear.
Camden thought it was all pretty fun.
Then he went and rode the carousel.
Wrigley flirting with Daddy tonite. She's such a smiley baby. Happy New Year, and GO CHIEFS!!!!! |
