Currently Listening
Diorama
By Silverchair
see relatedCrazy-insane nights tend to require a day of rest, which has thus been my day. Didn't wake up until after three. Went to get the new Harry Potter, which I'm happy to say is quite good so far. I'm over 100 pages in to this point and very excited about where it's headed.
I've been listening to a lot of Silverchair this weekend. They're a band that somehow slipped by me through my high school years, but I'm glad I've found them now. I've known of them since "Tomorrow" hit MTV 10 years ago, but I just never saw any reason to buy an album. I like very much.
Pretty much all my efforts at this point are looking toward Thursday when I get on a plane to go meet Christal at Raleigh/Durham Airport. We are going to have a fascinating time, and I'm looking forward to showing these cult members that she's mine and they reserve no right to lay claim to her. I can't wait to taste her food again (everyone glad I said food? <eg>) and see all the new people and places she's discovered on her adventures there since last we were together there.
It's been raining here recently. That's been nice, especially since it's making it much more cooler out than it normally would be. I'm frightened that the next four days are going to go by murderously slow, due in large part to the fact that it is decidedly difficult to make plans on less than no money. I blew it all this week, I don't even know what on. Mostly that citation, I suppose, coupled with having to get new tags for my car. That's really irritating. They are completely useless, and just another sly and undermining way for the government to take money away from everyone. Fuck 'em.
If anyone's keeping track of Big Brother this season, Eric just nominated Michael and Janelle. It's no surprise, but I really hope one of them can win the veto. I have no big allegiances to either of them, but I just really abhor Eric and his partner Maggie. Egotistical bastard and nefarious shrew as I'm terming them. He's so happy to appoint himself the house martyr as long as he's always in charge of the group of twelve others who actually aren't a firehouse corps (he seems to keep forgetting he's not the only individual in the house). She, as an all-too-eager lap dog, is so hypocritical as to actually think herself part of the elite members of the group when she does absolutely nothing and refuses to bend on anything (her vegetarianism or her hypocracy) for the sake of furthering herself in the game. At the same time, she, along with Ivette, is all too eager to point out all the minor inconsistencies of the other hgs. I'm not even going to get started on Ivette and Beau right now, I'm too worked up as it is. Pretty soon, though the other hgs are going to begin to notice their prudeness and cynicism and begin to finally pick them off their collective high horse and see their bossy, hyprocritical asses out the door. It's as good a reason to watch as any!
I'm watching you watch over me
And I got the greatest view from here...
Amendment: This was just posted on bb6bbq.com: Big Brother has his hands full tonight.
The whole issue with Eric and Michael Blew up. Eric was upset because Michael apparently said something about his family.
Michael went outside to the hot tub and Eric asked him if he "Had a F****** problem". Michael responded by saying "Yeah I have a F****** problem".
Eric then got upset, knocked over his chair and Charged Michael. The group had to jump in the Middle of the two houseguests before a physical fight broke out. The feeds immediately went to FT (fishtank).Crazyness!
