    Is it wrong? What do you think about sharing info online? Like... games and music? Is it possible to own an idea, like a song? Is it morally wrong to make a copy of them? (note: not stealing them, but making a copy... the original holder still has theirs. You aren't taking anything from them... )

    What makes a movie... viewable? Is it wrong to see sin in a movie? What makes some sins viewable and some sins unviewable?

    Illegal immigrants. What should we do? Give them cash? Give them free health care? Shoot them at the border?

    Gaming. Are computer games beneficial in any way? Are they rediculous? Should much time be spent on them?

    Last Samurai? Have you seen it? Should I see it? What are your top five favorite war movies?

    If the UN declared itself sovereign... what would you do? If it taxed you, would you pay?

    Dating v. Courting. What's the difference, to you? Which will you do? Will you have any touching whatsoever in your special relationship?

  • Watching movies: This is something I have put a considerable amount of htought into lately, and I have come to the conclusion that it is wrong to watch something if it causes you to stumble. If watching murders hurts your walk with the Lord, don't watch it; same goes for sex, swearing, drug use and any other type of sin that is portrayed in movies.

    Last Samurai: You MUST, MUST, MUST. A phenomenal film.

    War movies: The Great Raid (very good)
  • As a musician I think it is alright to own an idea like a song. It is no different than the ideas put forth within a book. If you are trying to make a living off of the songs you write then your main line of income comes from those songs. Everything else (tours, autograph sessions...etc) are designed to make more albums sell.

    Of course computer games are beneficial. They help train your twitch skills, thinking skills, logic skills, you know, SKILLS.

    The Last Samurai rocks! You must see it. It is very good. You should also see Nacho Libre.

    I've got one word for U.N. sovereignty: Militia. I ain't letting those blue helmets anywhere near my property. If I wanted to live in an area of their kind of "peace" I would move to pre-war Iraq.

    If you ever get a chance, play the video game Freedom Fighters. Very fun. Good story. If the U.N. declared sovereignty then I would declare war. In the vein of those Freedom Fighters.

  • I made a point in an earlier e-mail to you Shaun, but I would like the others to see it. It was an answer to your question, "If it ( U.N.) taxed you, would you pay?"  The way I look at it, we are already paying taxes to the U.N. whether we like it or not. We pay taxes to the United States, the U.S. supports our Army with boo-koos of our taxes, and our Army allows itself to be under control of the U.N. For instance, in the Korean War, our military (which was the main source of strength) let the United Nations command them into battle against China. Having said all that, no, I wouldn't want to pay taxes directly to the U.N. Of course when they hold a gun up to my head to help me decide, I will probably be more than happy to have them as my heirs to what ever I own!!

    This is a totally different subject but, I was reading an Abeka history book which stated that if we had invaded North Korea and hadn't just defended South Korea, we would not have lost as many soldiers. Man, you would think that if we are considered a free nation, we would be free to do as we pleased. It's like we're not a super power or something!!!

    Welp, just thought I would put my two cents worth in here ,

    The Last Samurai: Seen it, loved it, will watch again. One of my top 10-20 movies ever.

    Illegal immigrants: From a viewpoint of precedent, yes, free healthcare and education would be in order, after all, we do it for American felons. From a common-sense standpoint, heck no! Does the word "illegal" mean anything?

  • Watch the Last Samurai. We own the movie and it is very enjoyable. The beginning is a little lame, but after 30 minutes into it you'll be hooked. Excellent cinematography... and Tom Cruise plays somebody besides himself!
