Left Behind has to be wrong. After all, if they
weren't wrong then no one would be fooled by the Anti-Christ because
he's pretty easy to spot -- he's the only kid on the block with 666 tattooed on his face.
I figured it out. It's about political theory and political beliefs.
What's the world religion going to be? Everyone is going to represent
something that is "the Anti-Christ"?
It's about the Statist's belief system.
The Anti-Christ represents "overbearing Government." Everyone will
worship the overbearing government like they are already doing in
Europe. Worshipers will take on the "mark" like joining the ranks and
calling themselves believers of various political labels which make
them lovers of government.
The world religion is the religion of the state. By that I mean
that the world will worship the Government as its god. They will think
it is omnipotent and benevolent, etc. The believer in the Religion of
State will say things like "there oughta be a law." They are evil people.
What do you think?

If Revelation was a historical account, then why is it called Revelation?
I have pondered the meaning of Revelation, and I agree with you, although I still think the Antichrist will be a person - a central figure (you're suggestion about it being a government is a possibility, though, and I will definitely give it some thought). I do think that the one world government plan thingy has something to do with it. I also find it interesting that Revelation says that 666 is the number of man - not the devil. I always thought it was the other way around. And I don't think it's going to be as obvious as tatooing the number "666" on people's foreheads and hands.
I read somewhere that the harlot in Revelation represents the false church (those who will claim to have followed Christ, but will be denied by Him). I thought that was interesting.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Nice audio.
