A New Master Anointed

So it seems that a new writer has been named to fill the shoes that (the bastard) Robert Jordan left empty several months ago.  I’ve heard of this fellow before, but never read any of his works.  Here’s hoping that he does a good job.  The press-release refers to (the bastard) Jordan as “Tolkien’s heir.”  While I certainly have enjoyed his work, I find comparing him to Tolkien to be a bit of a stretch.  (And by “bit of a stretch,”  I mean “fucking laughable.”)  In any event, I’m looking forward to seeing how this will turn out.
