Near Death
The day starts out like any other day in her life. She quietly rolls out of bed, into clothes and out of the house. She starts towards work battling the early morning traffic. Nothing out of the ordinary so far. Its as normal as it can be. Until...she begins to set up a new job. She bends over and kicks the chair. Pushing it backwards out of the way. She reaches out to touch a button on her machine realizing the chair did not quietly roll away. A scrape and a crash rolls through the room. In surprise she looks up to find her chair in a hole in the floor. Now with heart a flutter she realizes she could have been sitting in the chair and bit the big one. Someone had kindly removed a grate from the trench and did not put it back. Yes she seems to be surrounded by morons....present company included. She should have looked around before work. She should never assume that things are the same as the day before.
Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they do things. Someone could have been seriously injured. Talk about not double checking the work area.

I think a lot of the time, the problem is not what people are thinking, but it's the simple fact that they're not thinking at all.
@foreveralwaysends - Do you think? I swear had I been in that chair it would have been ugly. I would have snapped a pic with my phone but there were too many witnesses tryi ng to cover it up!
@SadnessPart1 - yeah, I don't think it would've been pretty, either.
RYC: Well, at least with Mac n Cheese underneath your pillow, you don't have to get up and raid the refrigerator if you get hungry during the night.
Glad you are okay.
@marklabouff - Yes that is true...but there is only so much mac n cheese I can handle....
@Agreus - thank-you! Me2
@foreveralwaysends - ah no...I can see the heads that would have rolled when that was reported.....OUCH! But the comical picture that comes to mind with blue booted feet up in the air...is funny!
@SadnessPart1 - haha this is true
