11 year old tased? **
Excuse if I spelled that wrong....
I think my mouth dropped open in shock when I heard that news title. Yet as the story went on I wondered who was right here. What do you think?
11 year old girl attempts to push a classmate out into traffic. Teachers stop her and try calming her down. THe girl throws a temper tantrum. The school corrections officer was called in. The girl punched the officer (a woman). The girl was tased. The last statement was that the 11 year old was as big as a full grown woman.
I guess there are worse things then being tased. So I believe that in order to protect herself and the sudents that the tasing was justified.
**EDIT** I have more info. The 11 yr old is 5ft 5 in and 170 lbs. The officer is 140 lbs and now has a rather bruised nose. The girl was shoving more than one kid out into traffic. I have to say this is a case of self defense!

As terrible as it intially sounds, some "kids" are as big as regular people and haven't been taught any better thanks to lazy parents and corrupt teachers that follow the cover-your-own-ass line of thought to the letter; resulting in kids that simply don't know any better. Sadly they might not have had any other option.
@bluemarsupial - I agree. It amazes me everyday the disrespect and dishonor kids have. I have 4 kids. At home yeah they are typical kids defiant, rowdy. Yet they know when we leave the house they better be model citizens. I have been blessed with good kids and as of yet no major issues.
Yeow. I think the officer did what she needed to do.
Rather than taze her, I think I'd push her out into traffic... hehehe. I'd make a terrible cop. (Mean streak...maaaybe.)

Speaking as an individual who has been tazed before ( http://weblog.xanga.com/slicy/517864639/bzzzrrrrzzzzz--.html ), getting tazed sucks more than you can really comprehend. Seriously. However, it lasts for about 5 seconds and has very few long term repercussions. That little girl should have been tazed, then hauled to juvie... then perhaps tazed again, just for good measure. 11 is old enough to know not to push people into traffic. 5 is old enough...
