Forgive me
I have been absent from my Xanga life and world. I have dearly missed reading all the wonderful & creative posts that my friends create here. I have missed creating my own posts. My creative has left me lately and though I try not to try to find it, it still is not there. I miss it dearly. I can't seem to reach the words that are trapped inside fighting to get out. I start and it looks all wrong so I have to trash it.

I wrestle that demon too. I have found that the only way to defeat it is not to trash the thing and just keep going with it. Keep going, and if when you reread it later, you decide to change an sentence or two or twelve, then you still have made it past the blockage.
@Agreus - Well I haven't trashed it full. Just saved it to a file to examine later. My story reached a standstill. I added an other chapter but it doesn't feel right...
@SadnessPart1 - Can someone close to you read it and give you feedback?
@Agreus - I can't do that....I ca't share with the people close to me. That is why I write on here. You people don't really know me. Heck not sure what I mean.
@SadnessPart1 -Okay, can someone distant from you do it. Is there a trusted, and I know that is sketchy at best, online friend that you could have review it? I think I understand somewhat. The praise and crticism of a stranger can be filtered into what we want to think. Such feedback from a loved one is already below the skin, the cuts are deeper. The praise easier digested and forgotten.
@Agreus - I am not sure. I have wrestled with that for a week nw. Someone to share with.
@SadnessPart1 - Well, I hate suggesting it to some degree because of how likely it would be that someone would steal your ideas. I am just brainstorming trying to think of something to help.
@Agreus - thank-you. WIth every post I make I fear that some will steal it and say it is theirs. There is really no way to keep this stuff sacred. I may just post it and ask for feed back.
@SadnessPart1 - You could create a protected list. That way it isn't a public post and only people that you selected people can read it.
(I'll be back tomorrow. I need to jet this evening.)
@Agreus - well yeah but screw it. I posted it to the book site....we shall see!
book site?
@arminus9 - Thanks! I am on that and have tried the ast one or 2 but con't find the insiration in my heart!
