Say yes to one, and leave the other behind? Jimmy Buffett says, "Indecision may or may not be my problem," but I think it is mine. I don't know if you ever look at my tags, but I have one that's just a set of initials: flcds. This stands for, you should pardon the expression, "Fucking Libra can't decide shit."
I've always been like this: choosing one option means closing the door on all the rest, and I hate to do that. I second-guess myself like crazy, and pine for the options I didn't choose instead of committing myself to make the most of the one I did.
Not always. But often. Dang it. It must be nice to have a clear sense of purpose, and a plan for achieving one's goals. I feel that things ultimately work out the way they're supposed to, but I wish I had some idea of which way to turn.

Being a Libra myself, I certainly can relate to what you've written here. Indecision is due to looking at both sides of the issues, seeing the upside as well as the downside and being caught in the middle. At least that's how I feel about it. However it's defined, it's certainly frustrating.
Any job, career, that takes up our time, takes our personal freedom, deserves to be one that pays as much as we can possible get from it. I think that if there is an opportunity to make as much money as possible, to attain financial freedom, to take charge, to be the one that runs the house is a wonderful thing. I also think that answering interview questions honestly and with knowledge about yourself and the world in which you work is not tooting your own horn, but simply helping the interviewer realize that hiring you would be the best decision they could ever make. And let's face it...most of us have colored ourselves a little brighter during an interview in order to get the position. But that's expected. They want to make a good decision and to be able to sleep at night with that decision, knowing they've made the obvious choice.
I know you'll do wonderfully and that you can do more than you might realize you can or want to right now. I say go as far as you can, take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way, enjoy the power and the glory. We get one shot at this thing called life so I say blow out all the stops.
I think things work out pretty much the way we map them. Sure there are glitches along the way...life interrupts us sometimes and others try to gum up the works from time to time, but when you add it all up, most of how our life goes is due to our personal decisions.
Once we become an adult, shyness is usually due to a lack of self confidence. You've obviously got the smarts and I'm sure you know the ins and outs of your world at work, now you just have to believe that you do and then they'll see it.
Good luck!
I'm a Cancerian. I'd choose the option that was closest to home.
For the record - I've made two choices which were the opposite of what I'd ordinarily choose... and both turned out unforgettable and better than I'd ever have dreamed.
