• I think what this site needs is a really long survey.  Fortunately, La Chatte Gitane has one available for me to swipe.
  
  What is in the back seat of your car right now?
  Two or three reusable shopping bags, an ancient ice scraper I haven't had to use in years, the case for my sunglasses (the glasses are not in the case), and some trash.
  
  When was the last time you threw up?
  I do not remember, and that suits me just fine.

  Something scatological.

  Chuck, Adam and Danny, the three musketeers of IT at my workplace.
  
  What were you doing at 8 a.m. this morning?
  Blow-drying my hair.  This doesn't take nearly as long as it used to when my hair was four times as long.

  Poking around the internet and throwing a pink foam ball for my cat to chase.  He will occasionally fetch it, but wasn't in the mood for that this evening.
  
  What will you be doing three hours from now?
  Probably getting ready for bed, if I'm not already sleeping by then.

  No, and furthermore, ew.
  
  What is the last thing you said aloud?
  Aren't you a pretty kitty!  (Yes, I talk to my cat.  No, I do not expect him to understand me.)

  Vanilla.

  Iced tea, no sugar.

  Black shirt and grey pants, which I wore to work today.

  Bananas Foster cheesecake at Bennigan's.  I will not need a midnight snack after that.  I may not need breakfast tomorrow either; it was a huge dessert.

  I got some $4 t-shirts at Wal-Mart.
  
  When was the last time you ran?
  I typically walk faster than almost anyone I know, but I do not run.  I broke into a jog briefly at work last night, when we were closing early and I was pressed for time.
  
  What's the last sporting event you watched?
  I don't watch sports, though I sometimes have them on the TV for background noise.  Football games are good for that, and they remind me of my dad, so I probably had one on some time in the last season.
  
  What is one thing you could totally live without doing?
  Mowing the lawn.  I hire somebody to do that.
  
  Who is the last person you emailed?
  The library director's executive assistant at work, in regard to a patron complaint that, it turned out, she already knew about.
  
  Ever go camping?
  Every summer as a kid, until I was 13 or 14 and my parents got tired of sleeping in a tent.

  Yes, but unless you see me in a sleeveless shirt you'd never know it.  I have such fair skin to start with that my "tan" is almost anyone else's "unhealthy pallor."  And you will not see me in a sleeveless shirt.
  
  What is your guilty pleasure?
  I like 80s music.
  
  What kind of foundation do you use?
  I think it's a concrete slab, but since I wasn't here when they built the house I'm not 100% sure.

  AT&T Mobility, because they bought out Cingular Wireless.
  
  Do you drink your soda from a straw?
  I don't drink soda if I have any other option, but if I have to, then I do use a straw.

  My mother is dead.  We scattered her ashes in Colorado.  Is this the sign I always look for that this survey is aimed at high school students?

  Yes, but only for reconstructive purposes.

  Usually the drive thru, but I've been trying to cut back on that.

  Zip, zilch, nada.  I think this is the high-school giveaway question after all.

  No, but I have a cat that plays fetch.

  Some random library patron, I expect.

  Weird Al.  And I once sold Teller a multivolume biography of George Washington, but that was over the phone.

  I plan to goof off until bedtime.

  Five, if you count summer sojourns of three months.  Three, if not.

  Yep.  Also grad school, because I'm just that kind of a geek.

  On the couch in the living room.

  Teenagers with no manners in the public library.

  I forget.  Whatever was on the radio when I was driving home.  I had it on an oldies station.

  Left elbow.
  
  Are you allergic to anything?
  Some drug I can't spell.  They tell me I had a bad reaction to a yellow jacket sting as a very small child.
  
  Favorite pair of shoes you wear all the time?
  I wear New Balance running shoes all the time, but that's because they have good arch support and my feet hurt without them, not because I'd say they're my favorites.  That'd probably be the high-heeled Oxford shoes I can only wear for short periods when I'm not going to be standing much.
  
  Are you jealous of anyone?
  Not at the moment.

  Yes.  But not at the same time.  No chocolate with nuts for me.

  Yes, but parents are a very small minority of my friends.

  Not really, no.

  Go to work.  Because, you know, I am a grown-up, and I have a job and stuff.

  I don't hate.  Waste of time and energy.

  What a bizarre question.  I think I probably do, but I don't generally pay that much attention to greetings.

  Late afternoon, just before suppertime.  Something about the light.
  
  How old will you be turning on your next birthday?
  I will be celebrating the 12th anniversary of my 27th birthday.
  
  Have you ever been to Six Flags?
  No.  I pestered my parents to take me there when I was a kid, but they never did.
  
  How did you get one of your scars?
  Bar fight in Mobile, Alabama.  No, actually it was from misusing a piece of playground equipment that was not meant to be climbed upon.
